Kia ora ,

June has arrived and with it, three major moments we’re incredibly proud to share.

First up, we’re counting down to the Ngā Tohu a FMANZ Awards, returning as a standalone celebration for the first time. The calibre of finalists is phenomenal. These awards shine a light on those quietly shaping our most effective, thriving places. A powerful moment of recognition and advocacy for FM.

If you haven’t checked out what’s in store, take a moment to explore the full programme, including behind-the-scenes tours and our storytelling session, Tohu Talks, featuring past winners. It’s shaping up to be more than just a night out, it’s a full day of inspiration, reflection, and connection. I can’t wait to see you there.

And of course, later this year we’re heading to Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington for FM Summit 2025. The theme - Performance | Art, Whakairo ā whare, whakairo ā ngākau - invites us to explore how the craft of shaping our buildings mirrors the shaping of our hearts.

With reflections woven throughout the programme, it’s set to be our most creative and moving Summit yet. Keep an eye out for the full launch later this month. If you’re interested in partnering with us for Summit 2025, get in touch, I’m happy to send you a copy of the Partner and Exhibitor Prospectus.

Rounding out the year, our 2025 Inside Facilities Study Tour heads to Melbourne this December. I’ll be joining a small group for an unforgettable few days hosted by Nic Burt from FMA, with an incredible line-up in store.

Expect exclusive site visits, thought-provoking sessions, and purposeful connections, all designed to spark bold ideas and elevate your FM practice. It’s a rare chance to go behind the scenes of bold, future-focused spaces. Registrations are now open here.

As we approach Matariki, a time for remembrance, celebration, and renewal, it feels fitting to reflect on the progress we’ve made as a sector and the inspiring people who continue to drive it forward.

Whether you’re joining us to celebrate locally or explore internationally, or both, the momentum is building. We’re proud to be on this journey with you.
