FMANZ Waikato-BOP - Mpac Site Tour

Hi ,

Join FMANZ Tauranga and Mount Pack and Cool (Mpac) for an early morning site tour of their brand new kiwifruit post-harvest facility. 
Mpac runs a Pack and Coolstore Facility for quality Class 1 kiwifruit, for export and distribution by Zespri International Ltd.

This is a "Facility" of a different kind and well worth checking out with your fellow FMers in the region. 
Construction on the new 25,000m2 facility at Tauriko began in September 2017. Mpac moved its main operations to the site in early May 2018. The facility consists of coolstores, truck docks and loading areas, bin curing rooms, a large temperature controlled packhouse, packaging mezzanine floor, offices and amenities.

Taitimu Street, Tauriko

Head to the very far end of Taurikura Drive, straight through the roundabout past Domett Trailers. Take a left at the next roundabout onto Gargan road carry on straight up this road (don’t turn left). Mpac is located on the left hand side at the top of the hill. 
Plenty of parking available. Please come to the reception upstairs on arrival.
