The presentation covers a case study of the Mason Brothers building, Wynyard Quarter, Auckland.  The study shows how using the best industry 3D modelling tools to produce design and construction documentation, combined with cloud and mobile technologies can capture and deliver critical data for asset management and operations.

See how:
  • cloud and mobile technologies can be used and the benefits that they bring for asset owners. 
  • operational environments can be integrated with the Building Management System (BMS) or Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems so the user can interrogate live asset performance and control them all from their mobile device.

Brett Naylor
Group Manager – Digital Delivery, Beca

Brett has 20 years of experience working within the AEC industry across the Aviation, Rail, Commercial, Education and Industrial sectors. Brett previously worked in the UK for a BIM Consultancy. He now leads the implementation of BIM across Beca and works with clients defining asset information requirements and delivery methods.
Glenn Jowett

Glenn Jowett is a Senior Associate for BIM Delivery at Beca. He has played a pivotal role in establishing BIM best practice for central government and clients in New Zealand and the UK. In recent years he has developed BIM Strategies for a number of high profile clients across New Zealand, managed the BIM process on a number of high profile projects and contributed significantly to industry initiatives. Glenn is passionate about the potential of new technologies and how we interact with them to bring added value to our clients and unlock new ways of working throughout the entire asset life-cycle.
