The Building Compliance 101 workshop has been developed for new FMs and covers:
- What are the responsibilities of building owners and facilities managers?
- What building control processes do you need to know?
- What work can contractors/tenants do on-site without a building consent?
- What do you need to check before leasing or taking over a building?
- When are building consents and Code Compliance Certificates necessary?
- How to check the feasibility of upgrades and alterations to existing buildings.
- When are Certificates for Public Use needed?
- The lowdown on compulsory safety checks of systems through compliance schedules and BWOFs.
The Building Compliance 201 workshop has been developed for experienced mid-management/senior FMs and will cover:
- The top 10 things to watch out for in Building Compliance
- How to get your Building WOF sorted
- What you need to know when making alterations to existing buildings
- Hot tips for changing tenancies!
