An introduction for those who are new to FM, to the world of building compliance, to get you up to speed with everything you need to know.
A workshop tailored to experienced FMs focusing on more in-depth knowledge of various compliance issues.

The Building Compliance 101 workshop has been developed for new FMs and covers:
  • What are the responsibilities of building owners and facilities managers?
  • What building control processes do you need to know?
  • What work can contractors/tenants do on-site without a building consent?
  • What do you need to check before leasing or taking over a building?
  • When are building consents and Code Compliance Certificates necessary?
  • How to check the feasibility of upgrades and alterations to existing buildings.
  • When are Certificates for Public Use needed?
  • The lowdown on compulsory safety checks of systems through compliance schedules and BWOFs.
 
The Building Compliance 201 workshop has been developed for experienced mid-management/senior FMs and will cover:
  • The top 10 things to watch out for in Building Compliance
  • How to get your Building WOF sorted
  • What you need to know when making alterations to existing buildings
  • Hot tips for changing tenancies!

  • Notice received 5 to 10 days prior to the workshop will incur a withdrawal fee of 50% of the total cost of the workshop. 
  • Notice received 1 to 4 days prior to the workshop will incur a withdrawal fee of 75% of the total cost of the workshop.
  • Notice received on the day of the workshop will incur a withdrawal fee of 100% of the total cost of the workshop.
