Delivered by Diego Nunez, Director of Engineered Access Systems at Goleman Group, September's breakfast seminar is focused on height safety and designed to improve your knowledge of the requirements of height safety systems for on-going maintenance.
Focusing on access and fall protection, Diego's presentation is tailored to all FMers, from junior to senior level, and will include project case studies, examples of access and fall protection systems and an industry update.
Diego will also provide an overview of current safety in design legislation and requirements pertaining to working at height, explain correct height safety system design, and outline the hierarchy of risk control.
He will explore the application of access and fall protection systems, and delve into the design and execution process, from risk assessment and solution design, through to system handover and management. And he will make the case for facilities managers to be involved at the design stage and in the decision making process when considering how a building will function across its life span.
