Call for Nominations - Board Member Elections
The Facilities Management Association of New Zealand is an Incorporated Society governed by a national board of eight elected Members. Board Members retire by rotation and may offer themselves for re-election as provided by the Constitution. In accordance with clause 5.2.3 of the Constitution, nominations are invited from Members for vacancies on the Board from the following regions:

Central:

Bruce Kenning’s term on the FMANZ Board is up for re-election at the AGM. Bruce has advised that he is offering himself for re-election to the Board to represent Central Region.

Southern:

Anthony Van Meer's term on the FMANZ Board is up for re-election at the AGM. Anthony has advised that he is offering himself for re-election to the Board to represent Southern Region.

Peter Harris’s term on the FMANZ Board is up for re-election at the AGM. Peter has advised that he is not offering himself for re-election.

Nominations for Board Members need to be in writing and signed by two Members from the geographical area for which the person is nominated. Nominations must  be lodged with me via ceo@fmanz.org by 5pm on Tuesday 25 September 2018.

If an election is needed, electronic voting will take place prior to the AGM. If you are interested in becoming a Board Member, an information pack is available from the Board Chair, Bruce Kenning, who would welcome the opportunity to discuss this role with you. It is important that candidates understand the time required to commit to this voluntary role (3 to 5 hours per week). Please contact Bruce via bruce.kenning@mbie.govt.nz for further information.

Motions
Members will be asked to vote on three motions at the AGM: 1) Changes to the Constitution 2) Changes to the By-Laws and 3) An increase in membership fees.
Notices
Please email any notices of resolutions for consideration at the AGM to me by 5pm on Tuesday 25 September 2018. (ceo@fmanz.org)
